Lately, my life has been a non-stop orchestra of chaotic movements, or so it seems. Faster and faster, change is being thrust upon me with no end in sight. I find myself forced to change too. Don't get me wrong, I like change! In general, I embrace it wholeheartedly. That being the case, you're probably asking what the issue is. Well, let me tell you. I don't mind technological change. Learning something new (especially when it's beneficial) is fun for me. I enjoy it. Becoming an expert is seldom the goal. When I first decided to publish my first book, it was a nerve-wracking, gut-wrenching experience. I recall telling my wife many things during that time. I had hopes – that people would like it, dreams – to make enough money to write full-time, and expectations – that there would be a lot of work still to do. In all, these three things were in the realm of possibilities (some more than others.) However, there was was something I told my wife above all these – my mission. It's Christmas time! You might have guessed from the title that this post is in some way about Christmas. If so, you have guessed correctly. If not, there's still hope for you yet. Seriously though, it is Christmas time, probably my favorite time of year. Christmas songs (especially Roger Whitaker's), eggnog, Christmas cookies, and more are all family traditions that add to the merriment of this particular holiday.
